I’m going away on a bit of a road trip tomorrow and it occurred to me that I would be away from the blog here for at least a couple of nights! So I set my mind arollin’ trying to come up with a topic that was so utterly clever, witty, charming and interesting that my readers would be so enamoured with it that I wouldn’t be missed for a couple of nights. Needless to say, I wasn’t successful in my venture.

So I went back to the drawing board and really wracked my brains for a way to bring great content to you guys while I’m away from the computer… then it hit me. I don’t have to!

You see, since starting A Dribble of Ink I’ve met a lot of other bloggers running their own kickass blogs and filling my RSS Feeder with loads of delicious content every day. So, I’ll let them do the work for me! I knew I had to narrow it down a little (there are so many great SF/F blogs!), and I figure you all know about Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist, Neth Space, Blog O’Rob, Fantasy Book Critic and all the other bigger, more established blogs, so I decided to focus on the newer blogs that I find myself coming back to again and again!

The Blogs

The Book Swede – Chris’s blog is pretty new, but he’s always bolstered his roster with a recent interview with Brian Ruckley, an author that’s sure to make some waves when his debut novel is released this September.

Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review – Graeme was there when I was first starting A Dribble of Ink and I can’t thank him enough for all the help he’s given me since.

The Fantasy Review – Jeremy really impresses me with the way that he approaches his blog from a totally different angle than everyone else. I love how he covers what he’s interested in and passionate about. Plus, he’s already had a blurb on the cover of a prominent fantasy comic book series, how cool is that?!

The Swivet – The Swivet is a brand new blog run by the elusive La Gringa, is sure to quickly become a high ranking member of the blogosphere. La Gringa has strong connections to the publishing industry and a long history within it as well. I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table over the next several weeks!

Fantasy Debut – Tia’s blog is close to my heart for one major reason in particular: she focuses on debuts! I’m always on the lookout for new great authors entering the field and Tia’s blog is a terrific place to keep up to date!

The Gravel Pit – I find myself coming back to The Gravel Pit time and time again for his reviews. Always well thought out and casual, I find that his reviews really hit the nail on the head a lot of the time.

Bookie Monster – John Dent, the Bookie Monster himself, has been along with me for the ride as we both launched our own blogs. He’s taken a different approach to blogging and I really like how he seems to cover topics and authors that really make his blog unique to all the others out there. Plus Bookie Monster is just way too cool of a name not to include it on the list!

So, that should keep you busy for a few days while I’m gone! Also remember that this is far from being a complete list of all the new, great blogs out there. I know for a fact that I missed some (it must be late…) but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love them! Just make sure to check all the links on the left side of the page! But, just remember to come back here after you’re done reading all of those other terrific blogs.
