You know you’re big news when your publisher lets you name your novel Gauntlgrym. Reminds me of Paolini and Brisingr. That said, with Dungeons & Dragons, Forgotten Realms, ‘New York Times Best-Selling Author’, and R.A Salvatore on the cover, it probably doesn’t matter what the title is.
Gauntlgrym, the 7,345th volume of the Drizzt Do’Urden saga, hits shelves in October.

Hahaha, it just took me a few minutes to try to pronounce that title. Too true, too true, title does not matter at this point.
That may be a perfect cover. The art, the type set, color, and the font and spacing all working in conjunction with each other. Good work to whom ever.
That art is half a dozen years old now and was originally produced to coincide with Atari’s Demonstone hack’n'slash game.
I’m glad you posted what the name was underneath it, because I found the title near-impossible to read. The letter proportions and the kerning are terrible.
As you said, though – I suspect the target audience is already sold by the time they get through the other text and the image above the title. They may as well have just put “A BOOK” instead.
lol as long as it says “Salvatore” and “Legend of Drizzt” on it I’ll buy it, I was so scared that “The Ghost King” was the end of the Drizzt series
