I loved the cover when it was first revealed, but it was missing polish. It wouldn’t be an Abercrombie cover without a splash of blood. That said, too much blood can be a terribly cheesy thing.

Speaking of proofs, when are they going to start appearing?
Text went off last week, so they’ll be printed some time in september and will go out to booksellers, reps, foreign publishers and so on at that time. Sorry to say bloggers might have to wait a while longer, though, since we’d like reviews to start appearing a bit closer to publication time, if possible…
Damn those embargo-breakers for ruining it for the rest of us!
