    What a great poster!

(I’m actually glad Thorin isn’t the only handsome dwarf in the bunch.)

When we first saw the Dwarfs, I was a little taken aback by how far off they were from the pictures I had in my head, and compared to the Dwarfs in Jackson’s Lord of the Rings. Since then, though, I’ve come to love the sheer variety in their appearance. It really is wonderful, and true-to-life. Great stuff.

Love it. Very humorous! It actually reminds me of this scene from LABYRINTH (which s a good thing!)

Lol at the handsome dwarf. I think Aidan Turner was referred to as a celebrity (or heartthrob? Eugh) or something similar in one of the production videos.

@Scott — Between The Muppets and Labyrinth, there’s clearly a Jim Henson vibe to the poster.

@Charlotte — It must be the name.

I totally agree with you… At first I saw these guys and thought “meh” but now I feel like they are perfect! I think Nori and Ori are my two favorites so far. Still a little unsure about Thorin’s look, but hopefully the performance makes up for his quasi-metal look.

The dwarf on the middle right looks like he has a barcode imprinted on the top of his head. :P

Could you imagine this poster with a bunch of Gimli clones? I’m SO glad that Peter Jackson has given them individual personalities – I think they are all wonderful!

I am so excited for this, but to be honest I don’t know if that’s because of my love for the Hobbit or my love for Richard Armitage, Martin Freeman, Lee Pace, and Ian McKellen. Hmmm. Well I guess that guy at the top is supposed to get the girls like Orlando Bloom did with Legolas.
