Huzzah! I’m just going to pretend I didn’t see that bit where the elves are snowboarding through the trees and shooting arrows at the Dwarves as they escape in the barrels. Nothing to see here folks, move along!
Well I can’t say that I found the story-telling aspects nearly as engaging as the reading of the book- but man you can’t argue with those production values. Pretty amazing from a purely aesthetic perspective.
Man, I got shivers watching that bit at the end with Smaug.
All in all the trailer was a bit too busy with action for me? But I still am pretty excited to see the movie. I think I could be happy if Jackson decided to do another 20 movies set in Middle Earth.
