The new book, titled <em>The Fool&#8217;s Assassin<\/em>, is the first in what Hobb is officially calling <em>The Fitz and the Fool Trilogy<\/em>, which follows <em>The Farseer Trilogy<\/em> and <em>The Tawny Man Trilogy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hobb <a href=\"http:\/\/robinhobb.com\/2013\/10\/the-fools-assassin\/\">announced today<\/a> that the manuscript for <em>The Fool&#8217;s Assassin<\/em> is now with her publisher, and she is determined to keep it to three books, though her recent &#8216;duology,&#8217; the <em>Rain Wild Chronicles<\/em>, exceeded that length, eventually finishing after four novels.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Fool&#8217;s Assassin<\/em> is expected for release in 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few months ago, rumour broke that Robin Hobb was working on another book in her popular Fitz &#038; Fool series.
