{"id":1558,"date":"2009-08-24T08:41:24","date_gmt":"2009-08-24T16:41:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/?p=1558"},"modified":"2009-08-24T08:43:01","modified_gmt":"2009-08-24T16:43:01","slug":"cover-art-burn-me-deadly-by-alex-bledsoe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/2009\/08\/art\/cover-art\/cover-art-burn-me-deadly-by-alex-bledsoe\/","title":{"rendered":"Cover Art | Burn Me Deadly by Alex Bledsoe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alex Bledsoe <a href=\"http:\/\/downinluckytown.blogspot.com\/2009\/08\/announcing-cover-of-burn-me-deadly.html\">released the cover art<\/a> for his upcoming novel, <strong>Burn Me Deadly<\/strong>, painted by <a href=\"http:\/\/livingrope.free.fr\/accueil02.htm\">Jean-Sebastien Rossbach<\/a>:<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/burn-me-deadly-by-alex-bledsoe.jpg\" alt=\"Burn Me Deadly by Alex Bledsoe\" title=\"Burn Me Deadly by Alex Bledsoe\" width=\"469\" height=\"720\" class=\"center\" \/>\n<p>Bledsoe, and his first novel in the <strong>Eddie LaCrosse<\/strong> series, <strong>The Sword Edged-Blonde<\/strong>, popped onto my radar a few weeks ago after a couple of positive reviews from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.graemesfantasybookreview.com\/2009\/07\/sword-edged-blonde-alex-bledsoe-tor.html\">Graeme<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/fantasybookreviewer.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/recommendation-sword-edged-blonde-by.html\">Jeff<\/a>, two bloggers whose tastes run similar to my own.<\/p>\n<p>The artwork for both his novels appeals to me in that pulpy, mid-nineties kinda way. I dunno about the typography, though. The placement of the title sure makes everything a little lopsided.
