I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be flying away from my lovely country of Canada and making again for the wild shores of Europe.<\/p>\n<p>This\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll mark the second time that my girlfriend and I have up and left everything behind, teeming into the wild yonder together in search of adventure. Hardships are sure to come at us from all sides, but through our strength we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll persevere!<\/p>\n<p>Heh, alright, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll stop talking like a clich\u00c3\u00a9-ridden adventure fantasy novel.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nIn all seriousness, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be leaving for Amsterdam in a few days and you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll probably see a few changes around <strong>A Dribble of Ink<\/strong> while I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m abroad. First of all, like <a href=http:\/\/www.fantasyhotlist.blogspot.com>Pat\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fantasy Hotlist<\/a>, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll probably keep a bit of a travelogue while I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m overseas, so all of you (who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re interested in my narcissistic travels) can follow along. <\/p>\n<div class=\"quote\">\n<p>Everywhere I go I find a poet has been there before me.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Sigmund Freud (1856 &#8211; 1939)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>I won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t entirely be giving up the literature angle of <strong>A Dribble of Ink<\/strong>, however. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got a great plethora of novels that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m going to be lugging around with me:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Shadow of the Wind<\/strong> by Carlos Ruiz Zafon<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Singularity Sky<\/strong> by Charles Stross<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Drawing of the Dark<\/strong> by Tim Powers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blood Ties<\/strong> by Pamela Freeman<\/li>\n<li><strong>Neverwhere<\/strong> by Neil Gaiman<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Ten Thousand<\/strong> by Paul Kearney (again!)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Altered Carbon<\/strong> by Richard Morgan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not a bad list, eh?<\/p>\n<p>Though I doubt I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll have the time to sit down and write proper reviews (something I will no doubt do later in the future), my plan is to write little mini-reviews on the novel \u00e2\u20ac\u201c an on the go review of what I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve read, as I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m reading it!. This\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll (I hope) be a fun way to follow along as I read the novels and give you guys something to peruse while I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m gone!<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote\">\n<p>He who would travel happily must travel light.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 1944)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In another effort to keep the content flowing, I thought I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d offer up the opportunity for people to drop by as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Guest Blogger.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Whether you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re a blogger, in the industry, or just someone who likes to read books and blogs, drop me a line if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got something interesting to say and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see what we can work out.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got a few reviews lined up, which I&#8217;ll hopefully be able to have mostly written before I leave, so you should see at least a couple of full reviews to go alongside the mini-reviews. I guess what I&#8217;m trying to say is that even though I&#8217;ll be on the road &#8211; travelling around in the same clothes for weeks at a time, scraping the bottom of the bucket looking for another swig of beer &#8211; I&#8217;ll still be trying my best to bring good content to <strong>A Dribble of Ink<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote\">\n<p>A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>George Moore<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We&#8221;l be travelling through Central\/Easter Europe for about two months, all told, and then landing on the Emerald Isle, Ireland, for several months after that. Once in Ireland, I expect that <strong>A Dribble of Ink<\/strong> will return to normal. We&#8217;ll be visiting the following countries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>Slovakia<\/li>\n<li>Poland<\/li>\n<li>Czech Republic<\/li>\n<li>Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>Romania<\/li>\n<li>Hungary<\/li>\n<li>Croatia<\/li>\n<li>Austria<\/li>\n<li>Italy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking to see a lot of the part of Europe we missed the last time we were over there. It&#8217;ll certainly be a hell of an experience, to say the least!<\/p>\n<div class=\"quote\">\n<p>The Road goes ever on and on<br \/>\nDown from the door where it began.<br \/>\nNow far ahead the Road has gone,<br \/>\nAnd I must follow, if I can,<br \/>\nPursuing it with eager\/weary feet,<br \/>\nUntil it joins some larger way<br \/>\nWhere many paths and errands meet.<br \/>\nAnd whither then?
