Well, after two (and a bit) long months, my vagabond days are over. I have my Macbook back in my possesion, a consistently solid roof over my head (some hostels are dodgy<\/em>) and certainly won’t have to be waiting for anymore trains!<\/p>\n

So what does this mean for you and A Dribble of Ink<\/strong>? Well, simply that things should be back to our regular broadcasting schedule!<\/p>\n

I took every chance I could to blog over there, but it just wasn’t enough to satisfy me. Now that I’m back home I’ve got a load of content I’m just itching to put together. This includes reviews of Altered Carbon<\/strong> by Richard Morgan, The Ten Thousand<\/strong> by Paul Kearney (a less formal review of my re-read) and Blood Ties<\/strong> by Pamela Freeman. It was certainly a damn good 9 weeks of reading for me, so keep an eye out for those reviews over the next couple of weeks.

\nThose following me on Twitter<\/a>, will have noticed that I’ve started a re-read of Robert Jordan’s The Eye of the World<\/strong>. With the upcoming release of the final volume in series, written by Brandon Sanderson, I figure it’s about time for me to catch up on the series. Having read the first several volumes, my plan is to re-read the first three or so, Wikipedia the next few and then pick up where I left off (Path of Daggers<\/strong>, I do believe). I won’t be doing this back to back, because I want to keep the regular reviews coming as well, but rather I’ll be fitting in Wheel of Time<\/strong> novels between other novels. It will be the first time I’ve re-read any of the novels since I first read them back in High School, should be quite an experience!<\/p>\n

I’ve got copies of Richard Morgan’s The Steel Remains<\/strong>, Peter V. Brett’s The Painted\/Warded Man<\/strong> and Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn<\/strong> hanging around, which will probably consist the next few novels I’ll be picking up. I’m generally a bit whimsical with what I read, however, so that could certainly change in the next few days!<\/p>\n
