This piece from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abalakin.de\/\">Alex Preuss<\/a> is just another example. My opinion here more-or-less mirrors what <a href=\"https:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/2010\/07\/asides\/an-aside-artwork-from-the-subterranean-press-limited-edition\/\">I felt about the artwork<\/a> released for <strong>The Blade Itself<\/strong>: it&#8217;s a terrific piece, full of moody atmosphere and wonderful colours&#8230; but it doesn&#8217;t really match my vision of Abercrombie&#8217;s series. Too much dystopian Science Fiction, not enough dirty European-inspired Fantasy.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it&#8217;d look just lovely hanging on a wall, wouldn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Via Roland&#8217;s Codex: Subterranean Press is known for producing top-notch artwork for their limited edition novels.
