This time it&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/mouseferatu.com\/?p=2463\"><strong>Thief&#8217;s Covenant<\/strong> by Ari Marmell<\/a> (formerly known as <strong>Household Gods<\/strong>). Normally I&#8217;d bitch about <em>another<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-W_aGlsZ09XM\/TWKgT3bgqaI\/AAAAAAAAI88\/Z55JuhMsP6k\/s1600\/Among%2BThieves.jpg\">thief-in-leather cover<\/a>, but Lou Anders, the art team at Pyr and artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jasonchanart.com\/\">Jason Chan<\/a> take the tired concept and inject some life into it. It proves that a good artist can take those proven elements (sexy figures sell books, you know), literally flip them on their heads, still have fun and, most importantly, be successful both artistically and commercially. Along with <strong>The Goblin Corps.<\/strong>, Marmell&#8217;s really hitting the mark with his recent cover art.<\/p>\n<p>Since I can&#8217;t complain about the cover, I <em>will<\/em> point out that <strong>Household Gods<\/strong> was a way better title.
