Martin&#8217;s Fantasy epic that&#8217;s been a roaring <del>overnight<\/del> 15-years-in-the-making success. This time, it&#8217;s the Onion Knight himself, Davos Seaworth, played by Liam Cunningham:<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/liam-cunningham-as-davos-seaworth.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aidanmoher.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/liam-cunningham-as-davos-seaworth.jpg\" alt=\"Liam Cunningham cast as Davos Seaworth\" title=\"Liam Cunningham cast as Davos Seaworth\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" class=\"center\" \/><\/a>\n<p>Adam Whitehead on Cunningham:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Liam Cunningham is a highly experienced Irish actor with numerous roles on screen, stage and TV. He has appeared in the movies First Knight, Jude and Clash of the Titans, and recently had starring roles in the TV series Camelot and Outcasts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He certainly looks the part, and his acting history suggests he has the chops for the role, also. Davos is one of my favourite characters from the series, so I&#8217;ve been waiting eagerly for this casting news.
