<\/a>\nStaffer’s Musings<\/a>, edited by Justin Landon<\/p>\n Landon’s blog is new to the scene, but in the nine months he’s been around, he’s become one of my favourite voices in the community. He’s funny, but manages to use that sense of humour to eloquently and convincingly articulate his opinions and insights (even if I don’t always agree with him<\/a>). He seems to post a new review each day, and he’s begun to interview authors. I expect big things of Landon in 2012. Plus, he looks like this<\/a>.<\/p>\n Some posts of note:<\/p>\n His blog: http:\/\/staffersmusings.blogspot.com\/<\/a> Bookworm Blues<\/strong><\/a>, edited by Sarah Chorn<\/p>\n Sarah’s got a quiet blog, but there’s a lot of wisdom there and I often find myself agreeing with her opinions. She writes some of the best reviews on the ‘net.<\/p>\n Some posts of note:<\/p>\n Her blog: http:\/\/bookwormblues.blogspot.com<\/a> Sam Sykes<\/strong><\/a>, author of Black Halo<\/em><\/p>\n Sykes is best known as the author of Tome of the Undergates<\/em> and Black Halo<\/em>, but it’s his blog that really impresses me. He’s not afraid to tackle weighty issues, defend his cover art or use his acerbic wit to make a point. Consistently interesting.<\/p>\n Some posts of note:<\/p>\n His blog: http:\/\/samsykes.com\/blog\/<\/a> Mad Hatter’s Bookshelf & Book Review<\/a>, edited by Michael<\/p>\n Michael always seems to beat me to the punch where cover art<\/a> is concerned, and for that alone I recommend his blog. Great commentary, concise opinion.<\/p>\n Some posts of note:<\/p>\n His blog: http:\/\/booktionary.blogspot.com\/<\/a> Epiphany 2.0<\/a>, edited by N.K. Jemisin<\/p>\n Nevermind that she wrote one of my favourite novels of 2010, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms<\/em> (REVIEW<\/a>), like Sykes, Jemisin’s an author that has taken her blog beyond the realm to self-promotion to tackle interesting, hard-hitting topics that concern genre readers, writers, publishers and fans alike.
