It’s atypical for A Dribble of Ink, when compared to the types of novels and the authors I usually cover, but something about Shades of Milk and Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal has my attention. Maybe it was this glowing review from Joe Sherry, who I’m a fan of. Or her short fiction, which I’ve not read, but is loaded up and ready to go on my eReader.

Reading Joe’s blog is dangerous. He adds heavily to my stack of unread stuff; of which this book is merely a number of a large stack that is due to his influence. It’s always nice to branch out and try something new and we can’t say there are many “Austin-esque fantasies’ out there.
And who says that online reviews don’t win friends and influence people? Who, I say?!
